Tibiadrome is Here!

⚔️ Tibiadrome Has Arrived!

A new challenge has arrived on 42Ots! Adventurers looking for something more than ordinary hunting can now enter the Tibiadrome — a solo combat arena where every new wave becomes more dangerous and every decision can determine how far you manage to go.

?️ Enter the Drome

The Tibiadrome is a solo PvE challenge based around consecutive monster waves. Once you enter the arena, you will face groups of enemies that become progressively stronger as your Drome Level increases. Each wave contains a group of monsters and defeating them allows you to continue deeper into the challenge. The higher you climb, the greater the danger — but also the greater the achievement.

? Increasing Difficulty

The Drome does not remain static. With every new level:

  • Monsters become stronger.
  • Their health increases.
  • Their damage increases.
  • Additional arena mechanics may influence the battle.

This means that eventually raw character power alone will no longer be enough. Positioning, movement and knowledge of the active modifiers become increasingly important.

? Drome Modifiers

During your run you may encounter special mechanics that completely change the way the arena behaves. Among them are effects such as:

  • Sown Sorrow – introduces Fear mechanics.
  • Bad Roots – enemies may Root their target.
  • Somersault – monsters can rapidly reposition themselves.
  • Floor is Lava – standing in the wrong place can become dangerous.
  • Exploding Corpses – defeated creatures may remain a threat.
  • Going Down With Me – death does not always mean the danger is over.
  • Beam Me Up! – positioning inside the arena may suddenly change.
  • Tanked Up – surviving damage becomes significantly harder.
  • That Escalated Quickly – the difficulty can suddenly jump forward.

Different combinations make every Drome run less predictable.

? Concoctions

The Tibiadrome is connected with the existing Concoction system. These special preparations can provide useful effects and become another tool for players attempting to push their personal Drome record even further. Choosing the right preparation may become increasingly important at higher levels.

? Rankings & Drome Levels

The Drome is not only about survival. Your progress is recorded and can be compared with other players. Push your character as far as possible and compete for the highest Drome Level during the current rotation. Different vocations compete within the Drome environment, allowing players to see who managed to overcome the greatest challenge.

? Drome Points

Participating in the Tibiadrome also gives access to the Drome Points progression system. Your performance inside the arena contributes towards Drome rewards and provides another long-term activity for characters that want to continue improving beyond ordinary hunting and boss encounters.

?️ Designed for Testing Your Limits

The Tibiadrome is designed as a controlled challenge. The arena has its own rules regarding combat, monsters, rewards and character progression while remaining separated from normal hunting areas. Death inside the Drome is handled by the arena system, allowing players to focus on pushing their limits rather than treating every attempt like a normal PvE death.

? Drome Rotations

The challenge is built around Drome rotations. Modifiers and conditions can change between rotations, meaning that a strategy which worked previously may not always be the best strategy next time. The goal is simple:

Enter the arena.
Survive the waves.
Push your Drome Level.
Climb the ranking.

⚔️ How far can you go?

The first version of the 42Ots Tibiadrome is now ready for adventurers brave enough to enter. Future development of the system will allow the Drome to continue growing with additional content, balancing and arena possibilities. Good luck inside the Drome!

Client 15.25 Migration

Client 15.25 Migration Completed!

We are happy to announce that the migration of 42Ots to Tibia Client 15.25 has been successfully completed!

This was one of the biggest technical upgrades of the server so far and provides a much better foundation for future updates, systems and content.

New Client Version

From now on, 42Ots officially uses:

Tibia Client 15.25

The server protocol, login communication and game connection have been updated and tested with the new client version.

Players should now use the 15.25 client when connecting to the server.

What Changed?

  • Full server compatibility with Tibia 15.25
  • Updated game protocol
  • Updated login protocol
  • Improved client/server communication
  • Compatibility fixes for new client packets
  • Updated client version detection
  • Improved login and character connection stability
  • Compatibility with the newer Tibia interface
  • Preparation for future systems and content
  • Multiple internal fixes discovered during migration

Existing Characters & Progress

Nothing has been reset!

Your characters and existing progress remain unchanged, including:

  • Characters and levels
  • Skills and Magic Level
  • Items and equipment
  • Bank balance
  • Depot and Stash
  • Quest progress
  • Boss progress and cooldowns
  • Bestiary progress
  • Wheel of Destiny
  • Online Points
  • Boss Loyalty Points
  • Store purchases

The migration only changes and improves the technical platform used by the server.

Better Foundation for Future Updates

Moving to Client 15.25 is an important step for the future development of 42Ots.

The newer protocol gives us a better base for implementing and improving systems available in newer Tibia versions while keeping the custom mechanics and features of Hata OTS.

Future development can now be focused directly around the 15.25 client instead of maintaining compatibility with the older 15.11 protocol.

Important

If you are still using the old 15.11 client, please replace it with the new 15.25 client.

The old client should no longer be used to connect to 42Ots.

If you notice any unusual behaviour after updating, such as problems with login, interface windows, bosses, items, spells or character movement, please report it so we can investigate it.

Boss Loyalty System — Full Update

Boss Loyalty System — Full Update

The Boss Loyalty System introduces a new long-term progression path based on defeating bosses. It does not replace the existing Loyalty system. Instead, it adds a new way for active players to earn Loyalty benefits through boss participation.

How Boss Loyalty Works

Players receive Boss Loyalty Points for participating in eligible boss kills. The amount awarded depends on the boss difficulty and category.

  • Points are awarded once per normal boss cooldown.
  • The first account completion of a boss grants an additional point bonus.
  • Boosted Bosses grant an additional Boss Loyalty reward.
  • Boss Loyalty Points are permanent and are not consumed when bonuses are unlocked.
  • Gamemaster characters cannot earn points from boss kills.
Important:

Boss Loyalty is account-wide. Killing the same boss on several characters from the same account does not bypass the normal reward cooldown.

Loyalty Skill Bonus

The official Loyalty skill bonus is now calculated from the account's Boss Loyalty Points.

Every 360 Boss Loyalty Points provide an additional 5% Loyalty bonus, up to a maximum bonus of 50%.

Boss Loyalty Points Skill Bonus
360 5%
720 10%
1,080 15%
1,440 20%
1,800 25%
2,160 30%
2,520 35%
2,880 40%
3,240 45%
3,600 or more 50%

Boss Loot Bonus

Boss Loyalty also provides a small bonus to the chance of receiving loot from bosses. The bonus is automatically calculated separately for every participating player.

Boss Loyalty Points Boss Loot Bonus
500 1%
1,000 2%
2,000 3%
3,000 4%
4,000 5%
5,000 or more 7%
Boss Loot Bonus Example:

An item with a base drop chance of 0.300% and a 7% Boss Loyalty bonus receives a final chance of approximately 0.321%.

The bonus is relative. It does not add seven percentage points directly to the item chance.

Bosstiary Slot Reroll Prices

The Bosstiary slot reroll price system has also been reworked. The first boss change is free, while later changes use a fixed daily price progression.

Boss Change Base Price
First change Free
Second change 100,000 gold
Third change 400,000 gold
Fourth and every following change 600,000 gold

The reroll counter follows the normal Bosstiary daily cycle and is shared by the regular boss slots. The fourth and every later change remains capped at 600,000 gold.

Boss Loyalty Reroll Discount

Higher Boss Loyalty levels automatically reduce the real amount of gold charged when changing a boss in a Bosstiary slot.

Required Boss Loyalty Reroll Price Reduction
375 points 5%
750 points 10%
1,500 points 15%
2,250 points 20%
3,000 points 25%
3,750 points or more 30%
Example with a 15% discount:

Second change: 100,000 gold → 85,000 gold
Third change: 400,000 gold → 340,000 gold
Fourth and later changes: 600,000 gold → 510,000 gold

The final discounted price is displayed directly in the Bosstiary window before the change is confirmed. Boss Loyalty Points are not removed after using the discount.

Boss Loyalty Ranks

Accounts unlock new Boss Loyalty titles as their total number of points increases.

Boss Loyalty Points Rank
50 Boss Hunter
150 Experienced Hunter
300 Elite Hunter
600 Boss Slayer
1,000 Raid Commander
1,500 Legendary Slayer
2,500 Conqueror of Bosses
4,000 Mythic Vanquisher
5,000 Legend of 42Ots

The final title automatically uses the current server name configured by the server.

Bad LUck System

Bad Luck Protection System

The Bad Luck Protection System rewards players who repeatedly defeat bosses without receiving valuable loot. Every supported boss kill can increase a personal progress counter assigned to the character.

When the required amount of unsuccessful boss kills is reached, the system automatically grants a guaranteed reward. The reward is selected from the configured valuable loot pool of that boss or boss group.

System Rules

  • Bad Luck progress is saved separately for every character.
  • Only players who receive individual Reward Chest loot are included.
  • Every supported Rare Boss has its own progress counter.
  • Boss Groups use one shared counter for all bosses belonging to that group.
  • Natural valuable loot resets the corresponding Rare Boss counter.
  • A guaranteed reward is selected randomly whenever the maximum progress is reached.
  • The guaranteed reward is automatically delivered to the character's Post Inbox.
  • A confirmation letter is delivered to the Store Inbox.
  • The counter is reset only after the reward has been delivered successfully.
  • Bad Luck progress is preserved after logout and server restart.

Checking Your Progress

Use the designated Memory Box item to open the Bad Luck Protection window.

The window displays:

  • progress for every supported Rare Boss,
  • progress for every supported Boss Group,
  • the current amount of Common Boss Points,
  • access to the Common Boss Reward Shop.

Rare Bosses

Each Rare Boss has an individual counter with a maximum value of 15.

When a character defeats a Rare Boss without receiving one of its configured valuable items, the counter increases by one. Receiving a natural rare item resets the counter.

After reaching 15/15, the character automatically receives one randomly selected item from that boss's valuable reward pool.

Scarlett Etzel 15 Random valuable boss item
The Pale Worm 15 Random valuable boss item
The Unwelcome 15 Random valuable boss item
Timira The Many-Headed 15 Random valuable boss item

Boss Groups

Boss Groups use a shared progress counter. Defeating any supported boss belonging to a group increases the same counter.

Each group requires 35 successful contributions to activate its guaranteed reward.

Boss Group

Maximum Progress

Guaranteed Reward

Grave Danger 35 Random valuable Grave Danger item
Primal Ordeal 35 Primal Bag
Rotten Blood 35 Bag You Covet
Soul War 35 Bag You Desire

Grave Danger

The shared Grave Danger counter is increased by the supported Grave Danger bosses. Count Vlarkorth and Scarlett Etzel have been excluded from this group because they use their own Rare Boss counters.

Soul War

Supported Soul War bosses contribute to one shared Soul War counter. Goshnar's Malice uses a separate Rare Boss counter and does not contribute to the shared Soul War progress.

Common Boss Points

Supported bosses that do not use a dedicated Rare Boss counter or Boss Group counter can award Common Boss Points.

When a character defeats a configured Common Boss without receiving valuable loot, one Common Boss Point is added to the character's balance. Unlike Rare Boss counters, Common Boss Points are not reset by receiving normal boss loot.

Points can be saved and exchanged for a selected reward in the Common Boss Reward Shop.

Common Boss Reward Shop

Open the Bad Luck Tracker and select Open Common Boss Reward Shop. Choose the desired item from the list and confirm your selection.

Points are removed only after the selected reward has been delivered successfully.

Reward Delivery

Guaranteed Bad Luck rewards and items purchased with Common Boss Points are delivered automatically.

  • The reward is delivered to the character's Post Inbox.
  • If Post Inbox delivery is unavailable, the system attempts to use the Store Inbox.
  • A confirmation letter is delivered to the Store Inbox.
  • The confirmation contains the boss or group name and the received reward.
  • Progress or points are removed only after successful delivery.

Important Information

  • Only individual Reward Chest participants receive progress.
  • Simply standing inside the boss room is not enough.
  • Every character has independent counters and Common Boss Points.
  • Progress cannot be transferred between characters.
  • The guaranteed reward does not replace the normal boss loot.
  • The system continues to perform the normal loot roll before applying Bad Luck Protection.
  • Reaching maximum progress does not allow the player to select a Rare Boss reward. It is selected randomly from the configured reward pool.
  • Common Boss Reward Shop items are selected manually by the player.

Defeat bosses, build your progress and receive a guaranteed reward even when luck is not on your side!

Online & Offline Exercise Training

Exercise Training System

The server features an advanced Exercise Training System that allows your character to continue training both online and offline using Exercise Weapons. The system automatically manages your training weapons, supports multiple Exercise Weapons at the same time, and resumes training whenever possible.

Feature

Description

Online Exercise Training

Train normally on Exercise Dummies while your character is online.

Offline Exercise Training

If you disconnect, logout or lose connection while training, your character will continue training offline for up to 24 hours.

Automatic Resume

After logging back in, the system automatically resumes your Exercise Training if your character is still standing next to the same Exercise Dummy and matching Exercise Weapons are available.

Multiple Exercise Weapons

The system automatically continues training using the next matching Exercise Weapon when the current one runs out of charges.

Supported Storage

Exercise Weapons can be stored inside your Backpack, nested containers or your Store Inbox. All matching weapons are treated as one shared pool.

Automatic Charge Management

Charges are automatically consumed from all matching Exercise Weapons until training time expires or no charges remain.

Training Report

After logging in, you receive a detailed report showing offline time, effective training time, skill progress, charges consumed, remaining charges and whether training was resumed automatically.

Movement Detection

Moving your character immediately stops Exercise Training.

Training Speed

Offline training uses exactly the same training speed and dummy bonus as online Exercise Training.

Charge Protection

The system never consumes more charges than are actually available and automatically removes fully depleted Exercise Weapons.

Supported Disconnects

Offline training continues after logout, client exit, connection loss or server kick, provided your character was actively training before disconnecting.

Maximum Offline Time

Offline Exercise Training is limited to 24 hours per session.

How It Works

  • Start training on any Exercise Dummy.
  • The system automatically consumes Exercise Weapon charges while training.
  • If one Exercise Weapon runs out of charges, the next matching weapon is used automatically.
  • You may safely disconnect at any time.
  • When you return, the server calculates your offline progress and displays a complete training report.
  • If possible, Exercise Training will resume automatically without requiring any additional action.

Important Notes

  • Only Exercise Weapons with the same Item ID are combined into one charge pool.
  • Training stops automatically when all matching Exercise Weapons are depleted.
  • Exercise Weapons may be freely stored inside your Backpack, nested containers or Store Inbox.
  • Your character must remain next to the same Exercise Dummy for automatic resume to work.
  • Moving your character immediately ends the active training session.
